Abstract
A prefatory note, in common usage, seems to be an insurance policy drawn against bad reviews, a last ditch attempt to persuade the potential reader to inquire further. That notwithstanding, no such attempt will be made by this writer. Rather, let this brief advertisement remain a simple invitation to one small part of the medical image processing landscape.
