Abstract
The primary goal of the financial aid program is to extend access to post-secondary education or training and choice among post-secondary institutions to all students regardless of financial circumstances. Financial assistance for secondary education students is a fairly new concept that began in 1958. Today, there are federal, state and institutionally funded programs including grants/scholarships, work-study employment and loans.
