"It takes two to make one." The brain is composed of two separate but equally important parts with distinct functional abilities. It is the aim of this essay to investigate what the two sides of our brain do for us, explore the significance of this dichotomy as it relates to measures of intelligence and bring to light the importance of recognizing both sides of our brain in educational settings.
