Abstract
In the anaerobic process for wastewater treatment , organic pollutants in wastewater are converted by anaerobic bacteria into gas ( e.g. CH4 , CO2 and H2 ) and biomass. Interest in anaerobic biotechnology has grown considerably, both in the development of the processes for industrial wastewater treatment and in the bioconversion of organic matter to methane in the past decade.
