Abstract
Whether formalized or unintentional, guidance and counseling at the elementary school level is bound to occur in classroom and in situations where the teacher is sensitive to the needs of his students. The study of elementary school counseling has not received much attention in educational studies until recently when it was realized that there was a distinct need for it.
