Abstract
Schools are social institutions preparing youth for effective citizenship in accordance with the democratic way of life. All must be served. It has been estimated that by 1961 there will be fifty per cent more children of high school age than there were in 1945. An increasing number of high school graduates all over the country are entering our colleges and universities, and all educators are interested in the successful completion of their work.
