Abstract
Factor analysis is a mathematical model, the set of experimental designs which utilize it, and a system of statistical data analysis employing certain significance tests. It is a scientific method that must be adjusted to each problem which tries to find regularity and order in phenomena. Thousands of measurements and qualitative observations are resolved into distinct patterns of occurence [sic].
