A Study of Parent Prenatal Classes

Cornelia D. Kaehny, Marquette University

Abstract

Importance of the study. Parent classes are a new development in the field of prenatal teaching. The contents of the classes are adaptations: of prenatal mother classes. It is necessary to discover if these adaptations are meeting the needs of the parents, or if they need revision. The parents, who have attended the classes in the past year, are the logical source of this information. This study could be of value to any agency interested in parent teaching.
