Abstract
This study seeks to determine to what extent the parents of the pupils in the Catholic secondary schools understand the purpose of the Association and to what degree they are involved in their local Home and School Association. The findings of this study should reveal if the local Association is fulfilling the objectives of the National Catholic Home and School Association - those of rendering mutual service and acting as an organ of communication. Recommendations and guidelines for the implementation of the local Association might be formulated.
