Abstract

This essay deals with the design of adaptive controllers using a model reference approach. Earlier work in this field is due to Monopoli [1], [2] who suggested a scheme which involves the use of an augmented error model. The Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS) of multivariable and single-input and single-output system is introduced [3], [4], [5].
