Abstract
The investigator's purpose in making this study about the correlation of Civil War history with songs of the Civil War was to determine its effect on achievement in history. The study involved two groups of eighth grade children. It was an endeavor t o make comparisons between a control group in which Civil War history and songs were correlated and a regular group which did not correlate to find what effect it had on achievement in history.
