Abstract

The reading habits of high school pupils have become a matter of increasing importance to school administrators, teachers and others. These habits, with their results, form a general problem having many facets, varied both as to type and effect. Some undesirable habits are blamed upon the school program, some upon prior reading habits and others upon the pupil himself. However, their effects are almost wholly attributed to the school, regardless to the real cause.
