Abstract
Within the past few years many schools of higher learning have added to their curriculums a course in study habits, but very little scientific investigation has been made to determine the profit to be gained from taking such a course. Supervisors seem to sense a lack within the student body of the ability to profit from advanced study and some seem to feel that improper study habits are the cause of the difficulty. Al though a few studies have been conducted, the results have been inconclusive so that there appears to be a need for further research to determine what relationship, if any, exists between scholarship and study habits.
