Abstract
The Weibull distribution is a probabilistic model that has been found to be realistic for application in life-length and reliability testing for many mechanical and electronic components. It is a three-parameter model that takes the form of a general failure distribution in which the failure rate need not necessarily be constant. It is an unimodel distribution which has a finite lower limit, no upper limit, and can be skewed either right or left.
