Abstract
Administrators and teachers in many school systems have been attempting to solve the problem of meeting the needs of boys and girls of all abilities and interests. There has been a tremendous upsurge of interest, especially in challenging our rapid learners. This has been brought about by: (1) recent national studies, (2) the advent of the space age and (3) our fast technological growth and its resultant need for highly trained specialists who can think creatively and critically.
