Abstract
For two years Marquette University has been conducting an Institutional Self Analysis. At present the Committees have completed the first two phases of the work-the Status Study and Evaluation. The Analysis has covered all academic areas of the University pertaining to the administration, faculty, and student body. This Analysis, in its original plan, did not include the non-academic personnel of the University. The Administration later felt that it was desirable also to study the non-academic personnel in order to get a complete picture. On the whole, there has been insufficient emphasis placed on the non-academic staff. Yet, the clerical staff is an integral part of the school organization. Clerks, stenographers, accountants, and other representatives of the clerical staff have important jobs to do, and each of these jobs entails understanding of the total educational program.
