Abstract
In the process of solving what have seemed to be the problems surrounding the elementary science program, many suggestions have emerged for the attainment of a more suitable program. Many of these suggestions have been directed toward the educating of teachers in a proper manner before they begin the task of teaching. Although it seems this may solve the problem for the new teachers entering the field, it may be of little significance to inadequately trained science teachers in the elementary grades at the present time.
