Abstract
With the certification and a growing emphasis of each function 1n t he educational development of the individual, I became interested in the area of psychometrics. Since 1957 the State Department of Public Instruction, Madison, Wisconsin, has certified psychometrists to function in the public schools in Wisconsin. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the certified psychometrists as they function in the public schools of Wisconsin in school systems having a general population of between five and fifteen thousand.
