Abstract
The discipline of "Educational Foundations " traditionally has been a broad one, one which has encompassed the overall realm of education. It has not concerned itself solely with the narrow aspects of individual and group learning, but characteristically, "Educational Foundations " has included philosophy and history of man, with an emphasis on his. educational development. It is within this broad domain that this particular endeavor - Quality of Dental Restorations - finds its niche. Although one may freely select a narrow perspective, and examine this report as merely a collection of data concerning mechanical manipulations within the oral cavity, it is hoped t hat the reader will maintain his perspective and keep in mind the adage, "Every tooth is connected to a person." For it is the society in general which should be helped by this investigation, and not simply the dental restorations.
