Abstract
Education must create the kind of knowledge that will be essential for future growth. Some progress is being made, but if real progress is to occur in education, fundamental practices will have to undergo radical change. New methods of education will have to be devised and implemented. There is a growing awareness that traditional educational practices have failed to keep pace with rapidly expanding knowledge about the learning process. Some changes are essential if schools are to meet the demands being forced upon them. Present day education must be the best it can be.
