Abstract

In this essay two types of spreadsheet programs were used to develop the templates for the analysis and design of prestressed concrete members. The basic operation of each of the programs was briefly discussed. Five programs were developed to illustrate the benefits of using the spreadsheet programs. Solved example problems were presented to show the reader the efficiency of the program. A number of other example problems, not presented here, were solved to verify the accuracy of the programs.
