Abstract
Moving from a general bird's eye view of Education to that of presenting education as a profession with more emphasis on the trend toward teacher education rather than teacher training, the Educational Department of :Marquette University plans to work out a new Introductory Course to Catholic Education. Comparing and evaluating courses offered by various Catholic colleges in our country has made it evident that there exists variations as to titles and contents of "Introductory Courses of Education. Dr. John P. Treacy's recent article on the subject indicated the need for research on this topic.
