Abstract
Besides imparting knowledge, which is an important part of all teachers' work, there is an important area of training which some teachers tend to overlook. By this is meant understanding the child and recognizing in him his God-given rights. In many cases children come to school with a feeling of frustration due to unsteady home conditions. Sympathetic teachers can do much to help these children acquire a feeling of security by giving them the love and charity so necessary in the healthy development of the child, and so appealing in the true Christian teacher.
