Abstract

It was the purpose of this study to survey the smaller high schools of the State of Wisconsin in order to determine the extent of their work in the audio-visual field, to accumulate data in a "clearinghouse manner" which could then be made available to any principal or audio-visual director who desires to know what the other schools are doing with these tools of communication.

Following through with this purpose, it was the intention of the author to collect data which could then be used to make an evaluated compilation of all audio-visual equipment and materials that are owned by the schools . Further, an analysis could be made of the administrative practices and problems that are encountered in actual situations, coupled with the personal comments of the participating audio- visual directors.
