Abstract

Many schools are starting to change as they attempt to serve and meet the needs of students who are either chemically dependent or "at risk", or who need emotional support. Counselors, teachers, administrators, as well as people in the community are beginning to realize the value of having support staff in the schools. However, one group of students who have not yet been as thoroughly recognized are those diagnosed as hyperactive.
