Abstract
The major purpose of the study was to gather information regarding ways to improve remedial students' academic performance. It also was to generate recommended techniques which can be used as a basis to enroll more of these students into college-level programs. Finally, it was to gather information which can address the concern identified by the Black Student Union, concerned Milwaukee legislators, and community members pertaining to remedial programs.
