Abstract

This paper is intended to be a survey of the concept of groups with operators, which is a generalization of the ring of endomorphisms of a group. Since many of the results are gotten in the same manner as for groups without operators, few proofs will be given, except in the case where the proof of a theorem is not readily available or not generally considered in classical group theory. In addition, the concept of an operator set, with or without algebraic structure, will be generalized to groupoids and then extended to rings. To begin, it is first necessary to define what is meant by a group with opera for set Ω
