These guidelines will help to positively affirm students'/clients' personal awareness as integral members of the school, community and society. Chapter l includes the statement of the problem. The rationale for the study will be presented. Terms will be defined. Assumptions and limitations are discussed. The literature is reviewed in Chapter II. Research procedures will be explained in Chapter Ill. Counselors' guidelines for cultural sensitivity and awareness are summarized and presented in Chapter IV. Chapter V concludes the essay; an interpretation of the findings is presented, and implications are discussed.
