This song is a celebration of and exploration of the history and impact of funk/hip-hop in video game music. Much like the piece, A Lesson From Nature, this composition makes a statement about the concept that "there is nothing new under the sun" while also showing that the "old" arts can combine and inspire new art and music that celebrates and advances the medium and culture in general. Using sounds from Toejam and Earl, Parappa the Rapper, 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, I imagined a world where they had an even larger impact on the culture and music of the world than they even did in real life.
