Creator's Notes: The understanding of human sexuality can often be understood through other animals. In the 70s, a researcher concluded that wolves work in packs, naming one as the Alpha, or top dog. The other wolves were given, thus, a classification under the Greek alphabet to represent their rank, and sexual status. This idea was so pronounced that it made its way into erotica, but also misogynistic circles. This theory took two separate forms, growing immensely as the internet expands. The catch? The entire theory that these ideas were based on was false.

Comments

The omegaverse was something I stumbled upon while sifting through fanfiction. While labelled taboo, even by fandom standards, it is an interesting way of trying to ascribe certain animalistic traits to humans, and the desire for gay couples to have biological children.
