Abstract
One of the great things about living in the United States is our extensive and free public school system; unfortunately it is failing some of the students who need it most, the impoverished. More than 4 out of 10 school aged children in Milwaukee are living in poverty according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. The Wisconsin Community Action Program Association has researched and confirmed that in Milwaukee the lack of employment and education are major barriers keeping residents living in poverty. Through interviews, this video explores the challenges and potential benefits to be reaped through quality education.
