Abstract
In May of 2022, Marquette librarians weeded their main circulating collection using OCLC’s GreenGlass, generating lists of titles to deselect based on subject-specific criteria developed by subject liaisons. The collection was also shifted to make way for a renovation to Memorial Library, which has since been renamed the Lemonis Student Success Center. The library weeded nearly 40,000 volumes, and plans for future deselection projects are already underway. Meanwhile, Marquette continues to purchase large amounts of print, mostly via the approval plan. The plan is majority e-preferred, but there are certain disciplines that maintain a strong print tradition, and e-preferred areas continue to autoship print titles that meet profile criteria when electronic access is unavailable.
