Abstract
This book was designed as a textbook to help natural family planning (NFP) healthcare professionals understand and provide professional services in the Marquette Method (MM) of NFP. As such it covers traditional topics of reproductive anatomy and physiology, the science and evidenced research base for NFP, the natural biological indicators of fertility. how to observe and chart fertility, and how to use the MM of NFP with special reproductive circumstances such as the postpartum transition to fertility and the perimenopause transition to menopause. As the menstrual cycle is a vital sign for women’s health, it also provides topics on fertility, infertility, PCOS, contraception, and sexually transmitted diseases. The final chapters deal with spiritual and marital dynamics in the use of NFP and present a conceptual model of fertility integration.
