Abstract
The relationship between acculturation and the mass media is little understood. It has been thought, however, that use of the mass media may contribute to acculturation of immigrants in the United States. The U.S. Hispanic population is the fastest growing segment of the total population. and their acculturation is the subject of much concern. The mass media need to understand their role in that process. It is hoped this study will aid in that understanding.
