Abstract
Motion pictures provide a valuable teaching aid and should be used in teaching the various curricula of speech in colleges and universities to augment text books, lectures and laboratory or practicum sessions, thus saving time, research and preparation for the instructor and providing the student with vivid material when it is appropriate in his training . To the writer ' s knowledge, motion pictures in the fields of speech and hearing have not been categorized as to the specific fields in which they could be used in colleges and universities . If they were, perhaps the instructors would employ these valuable aids in their teaching.
