Abstract
The writer has sought to create, devise, and adapt original verse for choral reading at various educational levels with a view to developing an atmosphere of joy in the classroom through the medium of verses expressing the beauties of nature. An attempt has been made to arrange some numbers which could be used at the different periods of the pupils' development: Motor and Rhythmic Age, Imaginative Period, Heroic Period, Romantic Period, and Adult Period. However, no sharp line need be drawn since choral reading has the power of delighting even the adult with the simple verses and jungles which would normally be enjoyed only by children.
