Abstract
Communication plays an integral role within organizations such as advertising agencies, and specifically between account executives and members of their account handling teams. It is through communication that account teams are able to resolve the complex and not so complex advertising problems presented by clients. However, a search of the appropriate research and professional journals reveals no studies have addressed the nature of organizational communication within advertising agencies. For these reasons, this thesis will address the communicative processes that agency personnel engage in order to resolve the ambiguity and complexity inherent in client's advertising needs.
