Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to bring the problem of the speech-defective child in our Catholic high-schools out into the open, to draw a realistic and statistical picture of the problem that lies before us, to supply us as a result of this survey, with information regarding the various types and an approximate number of speech difficulties existing in each of the Catholic high-schools in Milwaukee and perhaps to germinate a speech correction clinic of our own on an embryonic scale destined to higher things in life.
