Abstract

The purpose of this thesis shall be to explain the distinction which Jacques Maritain makes in his book True Humanism between the temporal and spiritual planes of Christian activity, to show how he applies his principles concerning these distinctions to the present day Catholic press, and finally to discover how these principles are being observed in four Catholic periodicals.
