Abstract
This study examined the link between gender, communication style and effective teachers . Gender was a variable in two areas, the students surveyed and the teachers they reported on. This study had two objectives: 1) to determine if there were differences in female or male students' perceptions of effective teachers. 2) to establish any perceived communication style differences in effective female and male teachers.
