Abstract
The desirability of any magnetic investigation is two fold. First, as it may shed any light which may lead to a better understanding of the true and fundamental nature of magnetism and, secondly, as it includes carefully taken and recorded data which may be available to other investigators who may analyze the data from a different viewpoint, or may wish to draw different conclusions than those of the original investigator. The tests herein described were made in the Physics Department of Marquette University at Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The investigation was conducted under the direction of Dr. Charles H. Skinner, whose guidance, interest and encouragement was more than inspirational. This investigation was made possible by the data obtained from the tests which were performed by Mr. Simon Share, a student of Marquette University.
