Abstract
The investigation of elements through their spectrum in long discharge tubes has been carried out to some extent by R. W. Wood, the molecular or secondary spectra of hydrogen being the aim of his research. In the following investigation the relative intensity of the various lines of the helium spectrum in long discharge tubes was the subject of study.
