Abstract
The purpose in this work is to become acquainted with, and to manipulate, the equipment necessary for the production of spectral lines, to focus the instrument, to determine the dispersion of the instrument, to check the spectra of iron which are used as standards, to obtain the arc spectra of tin and zinc with the available equipment, and to compare and evaluate these results with the work of authorities in this field.
