Abstract
Recently there has been much interest shown in organic compounds containing fluorine. Much work has been done in this field in the chemistry laboratories at Marquette University. Due to the fact that published methods of analysis of organic fluorine containing compounds were tedious and complicated or inaccurate, it was desirable to devise a simple means of analysis. It was hoped that a method involving a potentiometric titration could be devised since such titrations had proved to be of value in determination of other types of compounds.
