Abstract
The purpose of this work is to study the effects of purified, crystallized desoxyribonuclease on the salivary gland chromosomes of Drosophila melanogaster in an attempt to further determine the relationship of desoxyribonucleic acid to the chromosome, and possible, by this, to throw further light on the structural relationship of the genic material and the chromosome.
