Abstract
Quality of Life issues are becoming extremely important in cancer care as more people are being treated longer and more aggressively for their disease. Many persons with colon cancer are now being treated with Continuous Ambulatory Infusion of 5-Fluorouracil instead of the customary delivery of bolus injection of 5-Fluorouracil. This study describes the differences in the quality of life of two groups of patients with colon cancer receiving the same chemotherapy drug (5-Fluorouracil) via different delivery systems.
