Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between reminiscing and life satisfaction in independent elderly persons. The sample included sixty- two subjects aged 65 or older, living in two community high rise complexes for low income elderly. The Reminiscence Questionnaire by Romaniuk (1981) and the Life Satisfaction Index A developed by Neugarten, Havighurst and Tobin (1961) were used for hypotheses testing.
