Abstract
The problem of in-service education is one which the author believed to be of major importance in the field of nursing. Many programs of in-service education for nurses have been tried. The response of the nurses to these programs has varied from poor to good. It seemed to be necessary to learn what the nurses wanted in in-service education and to select topics for discussion in which they were interested.
