Abstract
The case study method of teaching was new to me when I began this study. Since that time I have seen it in practice; I have read much about it, and I have spoken with people who have studied under this method of teaching. I believe that it can and should be an important method in the teaching of nursing. But I also believe that in order for this method to be truly effective in teaching nursing, it must be used over a period of time with continued research.
