Abstract

This thesis deals with the design of dynamic compensators for a linear, time invariant system. The design is based upon the solution of a system of linear equations. Generalized solutions of such equations are discussed and an algorithm developed for their solution. Several practical methods for use in the design are discussed and demonstrated.
